Check an IBAN from Germany and understand its structure
An IBAN for Germany always contains 22 characters. After DE and two IBAN check digits, the national BBAN contains 8-character bank identifier and 10-character account part. IBAN-Test can additionally validate the German bank code and the bank-dependent account check method against the available bank data.

Validate an IBAN for Germany
This validator accepts only IBANs from the selected country.
What IBAN-Test validates for Germany
Validation covers normalization, country assignment, the fixed 22-character length, the country-specific segment structure and MOD-97. Account ownership and real-time account existence are not checked.

Generate an IBAN for Germany
The generator accepts up to 8 characters for bankcode and 10 characters for accountnumber. It then calculates the IBAN check digits and validates the result.
