These terms and conditions apply to the use of the IBAN-Test.eu website, the offered IBAN and bank data checks and the related API services.

2. Scope of Services

IBAN-Test provides tools for checking and generating IBANs, validating BICs and checking bank data. The services may be used through the website, user accounts and the API.

Validation results are based on the rules and data sources available in the system at the time of the request. A successful check does not necessarily mean that an account actually exists, is active or can be used for payments.

3. User Account and API Access

Certain functions, especially API usage, require a user account. Users must keep their login credentials and API tokens confidential and protect them from third-party access.

API tokens may only be used for lawful purposes. In cases of misuse, security risks, excessive system load or violations of these terms, the provider may temporarily or permanently restrict or block access.

4. Request Volume and Availability

The available request volume depends on the selected package or the allowance shown in the user account. Each successful or processed API request may count against the available quota.

The provider aims to make the services available reliably. However, uninterrupted availability at all times is not guaranteed. Maintenance, technical issues, security measures or necessary changes may temporarily limit usage.

5. User Obligations

Users must not use the services unlawfully, abusively or in a way that places excessive load on the technical infrastructure. Automated requests are only permitted within the agreed API quota and according to the technical documentation.

Users are responsible for the accuracy of data they enter or transmit. They must ensure that they are authorized to process and transmit such data.

6. Prices and Payment

Paid services are governed by the prices and conditions shown on the website. Unless stated otherwise, prices for business customers are exclusive of statutory VAT.

Invoices and orders can be viewed in the user account where this function is provided.

7. Changes to Services and API

The provider may further develop, change or replace services, interfaces, endpoints, technical requirements and quotas where this is reasonable for the user. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.

Outdated API versions may be discontinued after prior notice. The relevant information is provided on the website, in the dashboard or in the API documentation.

8. Liability

The provider is fully liable in cases of intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In cases of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typically foreseeable damage.

Liability for damage caused by incorrect entries, incomplete or outdated bank data, abusive use, unavailable third-party systems or incorrect further processing of validation results is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

9. Privacy

Information on the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

10. Final Provisions

German law applies. If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is the provider's registered office.

If individual provisions of these terms are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
